Our story began in 1972 when Doug became the jeweler for a catalog showroom in Lincoln, NE. In the next decade, the catalog showroom started expanding into other states and he became responsible for all jewelry repairs for over 10 different locations. In 1983, we knew it was time to take the plunge and open our own store; Gold Smith Jewelers was born.

Since then we have seen a lot of jewelry trends come and go, but the one thing that remains constant at Gold Smith Jewelers is our commitment to sell the best quality jewelry possible, no matter the price range. We offer everything from one-of-a-kind, custom pieces of our own to classic, timeless jewelry styles in sterling silver, gold, or platinum. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting styles to keep our inventory varied and fresh, so we also hand pick jewelry from respected manufacturers and designers for our clients.
